Steve E. Sanchez, 51

Chama-Steve E. Sanchez, 51 also known
as Raynell died in is home Saturday
September 9, 2006.  He was born to Benito
A. Sanchez and Salome B. DeHerrera on
December 18, 1954.  

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding
his bike, and spending time with his children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one
sister Veronica Sanchez Kaber and one
brother-in-law Jose Fred Trujillo.

He is survived by two sons; Stevie (Mary
Beth) Sanchez, and Christopher Sanchez
both of Carlsbad, NM, one stepson; Randy
Garcia of Carlsbad, NM.  one daughter;
Misty Sanchez of Romeo, CO, two
stepdaughters; Francicsa Archuleta of
Romeo, Sheena Archuleta of Albuquerque,
NM, two brothers; Leroy (Amelia) Sanchez
of Chama, Gary (Judy) Sanchez of
Ventero, NM, five sisters; Lucille (Gilbert)
Martinez of San Luis, Loretta (Eddie)
Sanchez of Chama, Eleanor (Charlie)
Quintana of San Acacio, Margie Dickson
Sanchez of Del Norte, Donna Sanchez of
Demming, NM, four grandchildren; Shawn
and Steven, numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins, aunts and uncles.

A rosary was held at 7 PM Friday
September 15 at The Immaculate
Conception Church in Chama.

The Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 AM
Saturday September 16 at the Immaculate
Conception Church in Chama with burial to
follow at Chama Cemetery

Arrangements were made with Weylen’s
Funeral Home in San Pablo. www.weylens-

   I was so sorry to here about the death of Steve.My
heart is filled with pain and hurt for all the Sanchez

The Sanchez Family:

After all of these years, I was able to talk and visit with
Steve when he was in Lubbock, Tx to see Stevie.  We
were able to laugh and share old memories from the
past.  Please accept my heart-felt sympathy for your
loss.
