| Orlando Sanchez, 84 Chama- Passed away on November 11, 2010 in his home in Chama under hospice care. He was born on September 22, 1926 to Juan Cruz and Alvina Sanchez then went on and married Viola Sanchez. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, being in the mountains. He was a member of the Union Co - Operative - Conspitucional. He was very passionate about working on his farm, the tractors, and feeding his cows, but most of all he loved spending time with his loving family. Orlando was preceded in death by his parents Juan Cruz and Alvina Maria Sanchez, one daughter, Gloria Maestas , one grandaughter, Amy Medina, and 11 brothers. He is survived by his wife Viola Sanchez, three sons; bobby (Yvonne) Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Anthony (Rosa) Sanchez all of Chama, three daughters; Louise (Felix) Medina of San Pablo, Amelia (Leroy) Sanchez of Chama, Renee (Joey) Sanchez of Colorado Springs, grandchildren; Lori, Audry, Myria, Roberta, Robert, Lila, Angela, Racheal, Alvina, Cassandra, Brenda, Brittany, Angelique, Juan, great grandchildren; Patricia, Alyssa, Kendra, Amirah, Blake, Ashley, Jeramiah, Josiah, Connor, Elysiana, Anthony. A rosary was held on Friday November 12, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Chama. Funeral Mass was held Saturday November 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Chama, with the burial at the Chama Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Weylen's Funeral Home in San Pablo |
