Deborah S. Montoya, 55

Del Norte, passed away in her home on August 18, 2011.  She was born on October 9, 1955 in Grand Junction to Dave
and Gloria Marquez.  The then married her husband Tito Montoya.  

She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and sang in the choir at St Joseph Catholic Church.  
She enjoyed bowling, bingo and gambling, but she had a passion which was singing and playing her guitar, but most of
all she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her Husband Tito of Del Norte, one daughter; LaNelle Montoya of Del Norte, two sons; Isaac  Tito
Montoya Jr. of Del Norte, David Mario (Monique) Montoya of Del Norte. Two  brothers; Glen Marquez of Monte Vista,
Alan (Kate McEwen) Marquez of Monte Vista,  five grandchildren; Bonita Montoya, Emilio Montoya, Shawn Salazar Jr.,
Bianca Montoya, DeAngelo Montoya and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents Dave and Gloria Marquez, and one granddaughter; Crystal Lee Montoya.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Sunday August 21, 2011 from 4-7 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday August 21, 2011 at 7:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, with the burial to
follow at the San Luis Valley Cemetery.

I am so sorry for you and your families loss..I will always remember your MOM'S laugh, when we bowled together she could always make you feel better
on bad days just with her laugh. You were very fortunate to have such a Wonderfull Mother. She will be missed.
