I will always remember Erin for her smile
and quick wit. Erin enjoyed a good laugh,
and I had the opportunity to share many
with her during my visits to Wild Horse
Mesa. I will miss hearing the enthusiastic
"beep, beep, b b b beep!" of her horn -
something she did whenever she drove by
if she knew we were in town.
There are many beautiful things on Wild
Horse Mesa - the stars like diamonds in the
black velvet sky, the sweet smell of the
sage after a summer rain, the untamed
horses who wander at will, and the
wonderful people who make it their home.
Erin will live on in my memory as one of the
reasons the mesa is such a special and
magical place.
