Priscilla Esmeralda Martinez, 73

of Garcia, Co. Passed away on September 8, 2010 in
Alamosa.  She was born on February 22, 1937 to
Esdanislado and Eloisa Gonzales.  She was married to
Frank “Pepe” Martinez.

She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and playing
mariachi music, playing bingo, reading, and mostly
spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
one brother Jose De La Luz Gonzales, and four sisters;
Annie Cordova, Floripa Mortensen, Theresa Guerrero,
Marcia Gonzales.

She is survived by two sons; Johnny Martinez, Angel
(Marilyn) Martinez, four daughters; Angela (Gerald)
Martinez, Abby (Patrick) Garcia, Irma Martinez, Isabella
(Virgil Ruybal) Martinez, one brother; Charlie Carlos
Gonzales, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1
great great grandchild.

Viewing and Visitation was held Friday September 10,
2010 from 4-6 PM at the Catholic Church in Garcia, Co.  
Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM.

Funeral Mass was on Saturday September 11, 2010 at
10:00 AM also in Garcia.

Arrangements were made with Weylen’s Funeral Home in
