Casilda Lucero

Casilda Lucero, 96 of Denver, died at the
Cambridge Care Center on October 9, 2008. She
was born to Cleotlde and Willey Sanchez on April
19, 1912 in San Pedro, Colorado.

Her hobbies included being a seamstress, cooking,
being artistic, and spending time with her family.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Casilda is survived by five sons; Vernon (Dianna)
Lucero of California, Frank Lucero of San Francisco,
Colorado, Dickie Lucero of Denver, Jeff Lucero of
Denver, Alvin (Lisa) Lucero of Denver, five
daughters; Carmen (Marcello) Martinez of
Albuquerque, Juanita Lucero of Denver, Rose (Ray)
Morillo of California, Louise (Tony) Zapata of
California, two sisters; Adela Atencio  of Pueblo,
Loretta Gardner of Pueblo, 22 grandchildren, 39
great grandchildren,  4 great great grandchildren, and
many nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on October 12, 2008 at St Peter
St Paul Church in San Pablo, Colorado.

The funeral Mass was on October 13, 2008 at St
Peter St Paul Church in San Pablo with the burial at
the San Pedro Cemetery.

Arrangements were made with Weylen’s Funeral
Home in San Pablo
