Josie M. Gonzales,
79, of Questa passed away on January 26, 2008 at her
home in Questa. She was born on April 2, 1928 to
Francisco and Corina Cisneros in Questa.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Earl
Gonzales, one granddaughter Clarissa Gonzales and one
brother Frank Cisneros.
Josie is survived by her husband Gilbert, two sons; Floyd
G. Gonzales and Daniel (Reyna) Gonzales both of
Questa, three daughters; Carol (Ramon) Salinas of
Nashville, Tennessee, Suzanne (Donald) Ortega of
Pueblo, CO, Angelique (Marcus) Mascarenas of Questa;
twelve grandchildren, Matthew, Sherry, Gabriel, Christina,
Jason Katrina, Danessa Gonzales, Erica Gonzales-
Gallegos, Jennifer Clark, Marcos Ortega, Andrew
Jeantette, Marcus Mascarenas, four great grandchildren,
Derik and Dominic Gallegos, Seresa Lombardeaux, and
Marissa Gonzales, seven brothers; Stanley (Fabiola)
Cisneros of Taos, Modesto (Rosita Cisneros of Questa,
Fabian (Percy) Cisneros of Colorado Springs, CO, Joe
A. Cisneros of Questa, Levi (Gail) Cisneros, Flavio
(Carol) Cisneros, Richard (Vicky) Cisneros all from
Questa, one sister; Irene Cisneros of Los Angeles, CA,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Rosary was held at Weylen’s Funeral Home Chapel on
Monday, January 28, 2008 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday at
St. Anthony’s Church in Questa at 6:00 PM.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January
30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church in Questa
with interment at El Pueblito Cemetery in Questa.
