Fuertes passed away at Clear Creek Care
Center in Westminister on March 18, 2008.
He was born to Sigfredo and Jesusita
Sanchez on June 19, 1924 in San Isidro.
His parents precede him in death
Joe is survived by his wife Tillie, one
daughter Ruby Quintana (Charles Valdez)
of Arvada, CO, one sister Alice DeHerrera
of San Luis, two brothers; Fred (Helen)
Sanchez of Colorado Springs, Wilbert
(Louise) Sanchez of Colorado Springs, and
two grandchildren Ives and Nicole Quintana.
Viewing and Visitation was held from 1-7
PM on Saturday, March 22, 2008 and from 1-
5 PM on Sunday March 23, 2008 at Weylen’s
Funeral Home Chapel.
A Rosary was held at 7:00 PM on Saturday
at Weylen’s Funeral home Chapel and
another rosary at 7:00 PM on Sunday at
Sangre De Cristo Parish in San Luis.
The Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 AM on
Monday, March 24, 2008 at Sangre De Cristo
Parish in San Luis with interment to follow
at San Isidro Cemetery in Los Fuertes.
Arrangements were made with Weylen’s
Funeral Home of San Pablo.
