Dear Mr. and Mrs. Rael and Family,
I wanted to let you know how sorry I am about your
loss. All through school Dennis and I would give each
other a hard time, always joking with each other he
was quite the character. I hadn't seen Dennis since
graduation and at our ten year reunion I did get to
talk with him and it was like we were still in high
school he saw me and made some kind of smart
comment, I threw one back and we were right back
where we had left off, giving each other a hard time,
all in fun of course. I know Dennis has a family of his
own unfortunately I've never met them, wanted you to
know that all of you are in our prayers and what I
remember best is that Dennis was always happy and
laughing about something. May God bless all of you.
Sincerely, Chris Arellano and family (Class of 93)

Maxine, Honorio and family, I really don't know what
words I can say that would ease the pain you are
feeling but wanted you to know that my heart, my
thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so sorry for
your loss. I have fond memories of Dennis back in high
school with my daughters-I know you do as well. The
video is a beautiful tribute to a very special young
man. May God comfort you and help you find peace.

Nono, Maxine and Families,
Words are not enough and cannot express the sadness
and sorrow I feel for you and yours. I remember
Dennis very well..... hanging around with my kids,
Archie, Carrie and Yogi when they were in grade
school. You are continuously and will always be in my

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts
and prayers are with Dennis' family. I enjoyed his
friendship when he worked for the Town of Taos and
I worked at Centinel Bank. We had many
opportunities to chat as we took care of business. I
always enjoyed hearing him talk about his boys.
Thank you for the beautiful video. It really touched
me.
He will be missed by his community, family and
friends. May God carry
you through this difficult time. God Bless you ALL.

To the Rael Family,
My heartfelt condolences go out to your family at this
time of great loss.Dennis was such a great guy, and
he will be truly missed.
My brother, Joaquin, (Keno) was his classmate, and
that's really how I got to know him, and I always
enjoyed hanging out with them. Dennis was also a
regular at our family parties, Thanksgiving and
Christmas dinners at my Tia Roxanne's and Tio
Floyd's were never complete until Dennis got there
and started telling his jokes. I feel like he was part of
my family, even though I haven't been around much
since joining the Army 10 years ago, every time I did
go home, I'd look forward to seeing Dennis and his
growing family.
Last 4th of July, my husband and I got to watch the
parade in Red River with him, and his two gorgeous
sons. He was really good with helping my husband
feel at home in Questa.
I will always treasure the good memories, and I send
my love and blessings to your family. God Be With
You All, and may He grant you the stregnth you need
to smile again at the fond memories. I hope to come
home soon and offer my condolences in person. Love,
Adelita (Dee Dee) Chavarria- Mead
