| Gilbert R. Gonzales, 85 Gilbert R. Gonzaleof Questa passed away on December 20, 2009 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was born to Daniel and Adelida Gonzales on August 22, 1924 in Questa. Gilbert served in the US Army and was a member of the VFW Post 7688. He was Post Quartermaster from 1996-1998. Gilbert is survived by his two sons; Floyd Gonzales and Daniel (Reyna) Gonzales both of Questa, three daughters; Carol (Ramon) Salinas of Nashville, Tennessee, Suzanne (Donald) Ortega of Pueblo, Colorado, Angelique (Marcus) Mascarenas of Questa, twelve Grandchildren, Matthew, Sherry, Gabriel, Christina, Jason, Katrina, Danessa Gonzales, Erica Gonzales-Gallegos, Jennifer Clark, Marcos Ortega, Andrew Jeanette, Marcus Mascarenas, five great grandchildren, Derik and Dominic Gallegos, Seresa Lombardeaux, Marissa Gonzales, Joaquin Clark, two brothers; George (Adelires) Gonzales of Grand Junction, CO, Don Gonzales of Deming, NM and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Josie Gonzales, son Earl Gonzales, granddaughter Clarissa Gonzales, sister Lola Frampton. Viewing and Visitation was Thursday, December 24, 2009 from 1-6 PM at Weylen’s Funeral Home Chapel in Questa. A Rosary was held on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 6: 00 PM also at Weylen’s Funeral Home Chapel and another Rosary on Friday, December 25, 2009 at 6:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro. The Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro with burial followed at El Pueblito Cemetery in Questa.
