Cora M. Gallegos, 83
Amalia, New Mexico passed away on August 1, 2010 in Alamosa,
Colorado. She was born December 31, 1926 in Amalia to Ventura
and Rebecca Maes. She was married to her loving husband
Rudolph Gallegos.
Cora was a School teacher in Questa for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers; Ben and
Antonio Maes,
Cora is survived by her husband Rudolph, one son; Wayne (Lola)
Gallegos, two grandchildren; Derik (Erica) Gallegos, Ozelle
Gallegos, three sisters; Sylvia Maes, Jean (Jose) Duran, and Margie
Maes.
A rosary was held Wednesday August 4, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Sacred
Heart Church in Costilla.
Funeral Mass was on Thursday August 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the
Sacred Heart Church in Costilla with the burial at the Amalia
Cemetery.
Arrangements were made with Weylen’s Funeral Home in San
Pablo, Colorado
