Evangeline Mares AKA Vangie,

68, of Albuquerque passed away on June 3,
2007 at the University of Colorado Hospital in
Denver. She was born on October 2, 1938 to
Esequiel and Feliz Rael in Questa, NM. She
is preceded in death by one sister Benita
Gonzales and one brother Alex Rael. Vangie
is survived by a daughter Susan Mares of
Albuquerque, three brothers; Claudio
(Prescides) Rael of Questa, Eliseo (Laura)
Rael of Questa, Joe (Rebecca) Rael of
Questa, one sister Luisa Rael of Albuquerque
and numerous nieces and nephews. A
Rosary was held on Thursday June 7, 2007
at St. Anthony’s Church in Questa at 7:00
PM. The Funeral Mass was held on Friday
June 8, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Church in
Questa at 10:00 AM following with the
Interment at El Pueblito Cemetery in Questa.
