Eric Scott Shinn
Scott passed away on December 11, 2006 at his home in Questa at
age 68. He was born to Frederick Shinn and Catherine Busch on
August 20, 1938 in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Scott was a pioneer in the computer field, as a computer
programmer. His interests included music & traveling, and his
passions were reading, photography & spending time with his friends.
He is survived by two daughters; Karen Jeanne (John) Batulis of
Bear, Delaware, Wendy Jo (Ernest) Duckett of Annapolis, Maryland,
two brothers Alan Shinn of Berkeley, California and Peter Shinn of
Morganton, North Carolina, 4 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren, dear friends Jeannie and Jerry Sullivan and Marie and
Alex Arellano, who took care of him during his illness.
Cremation was selected and arrangements were made with Weylen’s
Funeral Home of Questa.
A private service will be held at a later date.
