Dennis Joe Pacheco
Del Norte, passed away on March 13, 2007 at Evergreen
Nursing Home. Dennis was born on March 6, 1923 in
Saguache, Colorado. Son of Julian amd Ferminia
Pacheco. He was united in marriage to Teresa Marquez
on July6, 1944 in Questa, New Mexico.He resided in Del
Norte all his life. He did farming, logging & sheep
shearing. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and
spending time with his loving family. He especially loved
his grandchildren and great grandchildren, they all brought
a smile to his face.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years
Teresa Pacheco. One son Larry (Veronica) Pachecoof
Del Norte, one daughter Betty (Dennis) Pacheco of
Alamosa, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2
brothers Moises Pacheco of Cedar Ridge, CO & Walter
Pacheco of La Garita, 4 sisters, Andrea Torres of Boises,
Idaho, Fidella Sierra of Del Norte, Elvera Martinez &
Susana Woody of Grand Junction.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, brother Tobias
Pacheco, sisters Theordora, Lupe, Josephine, Ruth, 1
grandson Eddie Krueger Pacheco and one great
granddaughter Rheagan Pacheco.
Viewing and visitation was from 2-7 PM on Friday, March
16, 2007 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Del Norte.
A Rosary was held at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 16, 2007
at Holy Name of Mary Church in Del Norte.
The Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March
17, 2007 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Del Norte with
burial to follow at Del Norte Cemetery.
Arrangements were made with Weylen’s Funeral Home of San Pablo,
