CHRISTOPHER GARCIA
SAN LUIS — Christopher Garcia, 24 passed away in
Athens, Texas on Feb. 15, 2007. He was born to Abigail
Pinedo and Joseph Garcia on April 26, 1982 in La Jara,
Colo. He moved to Texas in 1996, and graduated in
2002 from Athens High School. He was employed by
Future Matrix Inc.
Survivors include his parents Abigail and Ricardo Pinedo
of Athens and Joseph Garcia of Albuquerque, N.M.;
brother Isaac Garcia of San Luis; grandparents Delores
Garcia of Albuquerque, Juan and Della Trujillo, of San
Luis; step-grandparents Demetrio and Paula Pinedo of
Athens, and great-grandmother Marina Trujillo, of San
Luis.
Viewing and Visitation was held from 1 until 5 p.m.
Thurs., Feb. 22, at Weylen’s Funeral Home Chapel.
A Rosary was at 7 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 21, at Weylen’s
Funeral Home Chapel and at 7 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 22, at
the Sangre de Cristo Parish in San Luis.
Funeral mass was at 10 a.m. Fri., Feb. 23, at the Sangre
de Cristo Parish with burial following at the Sangre de
Cristo Cemetery in San Luis.
Arrangements were made with Weylen’s Funeral Home
of San Pablo, Colo.
