| Barbara Santistevan, 37, of Questa passed away on February 8, 2008 in Albuquerque. She was born on November 5, 1970 to Donaldo and Maryann Cortez in Taos. She is preceded in death by her father. Barbara is survived by her mother Maryann Arellano, two sons; Gabriel and Jared Santistevan of Questa, one sister; Angelina (Mark) Ortega of Rio Ranchos and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A evening service was held at First Baptist Church in Questa at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. A Funeral Service was held at First Baptist Church in Questa at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 14, 2008 with interment at Cerro Cemetery in Cerro. When lord welcomes you into his kingdom and you
have your wings, don’t forget to look down upon us. I
love you and I will miss you; but I live with the comfort
that your suffering is now over, and you have found
peace.

To my beloved Sister Barbara,
I am going to miss you very much, but our Lord has
called you home and I know I will see you someday as
He has promised. For we know that when this earthly
tent we live in is taken down-when we die and leave
these bodies-we will have a home in Heaven, an
eternal body made for us by God himself and not by
human hands. 2 Cor. 5:1 No eye has seen or no ear has
heard what the Lord has in store for us.
